Where should ~75% of your budget go?

  1. GPU

    60.0%
  2. CPU

    40.0%

    Hello dear guildies,

I'm starting this thread because i noticed there is none and also yesterday someone wanted help with this on the TS.

My thoughs about this thread is to share the collective knowledge about PC hardware. Many of you probably know alot about this already and you can either help or move along it is up to you, i will manage this myself if i have to.

Ask questions on your next upgrade or complete builds, how to spend the money visely, maybe ask about optimization if you feel your PC should be able to do more. The floor is open ask away!

    (There is no dumb/silly questions)

Post pictures about your setup, components monitors or complete with everything, i am qurious to see what everyone is working with and how you have it set up :)

In depth descriptions about your PC is also more than welcome.

So to put it short, ask for help or showcase your awesome stuff here!

    Best regards: Norrland.

basicly I have a cheapass case (because its under my desk anyway) and a gtx 970 in it and a core i5 3570 that runs black desert at 45 FPS average on a 2.7k resolution on highest :)
So as you can see on my setup, the GPU is very important :)

That is in no way a bad setup Konijntje, CPUs tend to last very long and with some overklocking you can always squeeze a few more years worth from it!

Do you use a G-sync monitor 45fps is good on the highest setting but it can get choppy at time :) Or do you put down the graphics during boss battles / big wars.

No, i always keep graphics the same. during world bosses it does drop to like 5fps wich is difficult, but during node wars its like ~20fps and only with ALOT of people.

games recently are just as CPU heavy as much as they are GPU heavy
