    Right then,

as per request of at least two people, whom I do not know yet by voice alone,
I'm posting this quick-guide on how to install a voice-pack for the game.

Step 1) Follow this link and decide whether you want the JP or the KR voices (naturally, you can only have one active at a time) Download the respective pack and move to step 2 :3

Sidenote: For the JP pack, I only have the main files installed. I do not know exactly what the Login/-out files affect)

Step 2) Go to your BnS installation folder and move to ...\bns\contents\local\NCWEST\ENGLISH\
Here you will find a folder called 'CookedPC' Add a new folder and name it 'CookedPCMod'
IMPORTANT: Make sure it is spelled EXACTLY like this. (capital C, capital P, capital C, capital M) and no spaces.

Step 3) Extract the contents of your downloaded voice-pack to this new folder.

At this point you should have a CookedPC folder (in here are the original, English voice files) and a CookedPCMod folder (in here are the JP or KR voice files)

Step 4) Head to this page, and copy the text you see in the code-area. Create a new .txt file on your...well...anywhere, really, and paste the text. Save, exit and RENAME the file from .TXT to .BAT (doesn't have to be capitol letters, I'm just typing that for added importance and drama)
(It should look something like this 'SomeFileNameDoesntMatterWhat.bat')

Step 5) Open the file again and replace the first three lines of text - that's four lines in total, including the line with no text at all - with the following:
    CD "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSOFT\BnS\"

    START /wait "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCWest\NCLauncher\NCLauncher.exe" /LauncherID:"NCWest" /CompanyID:"12" /GameID:"BnS" /LUpdateAddr:"updater.nclauncher.ncsoft.com"

    IMPORTANT:

IF you did NOT install BnS and/or the NCLauncher to the default install directory, please change the two directories above accordingly. (One is for the game directory, the other for the NClauncher)

After you have made the necessary changes (those being a simple select-and-replace, or the changing of the directories) save the file.

Step 6) Move the file to the following location in your game directory: ...\NCsoft\bns

    IMPORTANT:

From now on, whenEVER you want to use the JP/KR voices, you must launch the game from this BAT-file.
And you MUST RUN THIS FILE AS ADMINISTRATOR. Otherwise the voice-pack WILL. NOT. WORK.
(not mad, just added import and drama)

Once you boot the game, with a bit of luck the launcher will pop up along with a CMD prompt, showing some info. Login as you normally would and boot the game. As you click start, the game might download some files (up to 400 mb. this is one-time only.)

The game will boot and you get the dragon splash screen.

    IMPORTANT:

Once you see the dragon splash screen, click on the small NCSoft launcher window that sits behind the dragon, and click it away (as in: click on the X in the top-right corner).
With a bit of luck, the CMD-prompt will start moving some files that end in .upk

Once in-game, you should hear the menu is in English, BUT once you head into the actual gameworld, HOPEFULLY, the NPC's will now talk Japanese/Korean.

I hope this works for those of you who are interested. I hope you guys can follow it without too much trouble.
If there are questions, feel free to ask them,
If this is, for whatever reason, against forum protocol etc. Please let me know, and feel free to lock this up and sorry in advance.

Though there is also an sort of easier version:

Go to ...\bns\contents\local\NCWEST\ENGLISH\CookedPC\ and create a folder called "mod" in there, copy all the voice pack files in there and start your game as you do usually. After logging in the regular way and starting, showing the bns logo thingy, it will open a notification message, telling you that it detected a file and uses the file inside the mod folder file instead of the one in the original folder.
Though those are a lot of files and ok's to press, but just hit "Enter" or "Return" button and keep it pressed until it run through all files.
    Takes about 5 seconds.
This way you don't have to go through the repair and the launcher updates the game as usual.

...Or you can do that, I guess .____.
(The file repair is some x00 mb once, and after that 85kb, so that's negligible, though)

Only if it overwrites the files in the way you do (or well the original post in Dojo mention it). The Launcher detects that the files it should use in the CookedPC folder have the wrong fileid and size so it downloads the whole pack again.
If you create a Mod folder inside the CookedPC folder then it uses the files inside that folder. The only annoying thing is, that you have to press and hold return key at the beginning to get rid of the Notification Window.
But on the bright side, you can even swap out, make two mod folders and cut and paste it in. Like for example if you want to try the korean and the japanese, or want to try other skins/skin alteration of clothings. And since you do not change any original game files, its not detectable by the launcher.

Also i am going to upload the Japanese Voice pack to my Dropbox, because some people might have problems (like Fabbutt) with internet blocks for Mega

Well it cant really mess up future updates, what the batch file does is just ignoring the white NCsoft BNS launcher so it does not verify the files at all and jumps straight from the "Type in your ID and Password" to into the game.
If there is a patch upcoming you will have to start the game the regular way but then it will update the client and also download the original voice pack files (english ones) because it detects these as corrupted or damaged due to unmatching sizes.

Edit: Well Koni its not a Black Desert guide either :haha:
